Embossed & debossing is 3D artwork to make your design with a better visual and touch.
Embossed is when you raise a logo or other image to create a 3d graphic, and debossing is the opposite of embossing as you are creating an indent in the material you are using.

Both embossing and debossing can be used in combination with offset printing or foil stamping to add depth and impact to a design. Dies can be sculpted as single-level, multilevel, sculptured, or with beveled edges to create striking multi-dimensional designs.
Metallic Foil stamping is another artwork that is different from metallic PMS printing. It is a process where a foil is adhered directly onto your paper stock using a combination of heat and pressure. it creates an effect that is not only visual but textural as well.
Advantage:
The Foil Stamping color looks shinier than the metallic PMS printing, it is a good choice to highlight your brand name on the packaging.
While it shows the metallic effect, there also come with debossed effect, to make the packaging looks more structured, not just paper.

Spot UV is one of the many specialty printing techniques used to produce impactful packaging to differentiate brands/products from each other. This technique can be used to enhance key elements of your packaging such as Logos, Slogans, Artwork designs, Images
Applications:
Several looks can be achievable by UV spot, from a light glossy and highly glossy to elegant matte or satin and a neutral finish. You could use it on cards, packaging boxes, flyers, etc.
This is a versatile technique suitable for heavy and thinner paper stocks; having said that, it is not conducive to very fine and thin paper.
